The Minecraft Mods

A living world you can commission and command — elven towns, dwarven outposts, a giant pantheon, warring factions, and the first sparks of magic. Now rebuilt on bespoke Tier 3 models.

Commission a living High Elf town rather than build it — buy deeds and the elves raise each building block-by-block, then run their own daily clock: work, meals at the well, nightly theater, guard patrols, and a colony expedition that founds a second town on the frontier. Now on bespoke Tier 3 elven models with a ‘nothing is free’ economy where every deed costs exactly its materials.

Don’t build your outpost — commission it. Pay dwarven vendors and they raise each structure block-by-block, staffed by six professions and thirteen trader shops, all the way up to a Castle that houses them together. Now on a shared Tier 3 dwarf mesh with a rebuilt economy where every placed block is charged at its true cost.

A five-giant pantheon — Hill, Stone, Frost, Fire, and Storm — each a rare, persistent world boss with its own counterplay and a treasure found nowhere else. Giants of different types war on sight, producing an emergent food chain across the land. Fully re-sculpted in the Tier 3 rebuild: five distinct silhouettes, signature moves, and recorded voice.

Two rival factions — goblins and gnolls — that form packs, crown kings, wage war, and build their own camps while respecting your property. Plus a three-tier economy, a flyable Magic Carpet, and a summon-only Lich boss that gates the carpet behind a multi-phase fight. A companion to JRH Giants: goblins and gnolls flee giants when both are installed. Now with full Tier 3 custom models.

Player-run shops that keep trading after you log out. Craft a Merchant’s Desk, stock a private vault that follows you to any dimension, set eight prices, and hire a red-coated Factor to work the counter while you’re away. Mobs ignore him, and killing him drops nothing — your stock never leaves your vault.

Fantasy monsters for the overworld — three dragons that each breathe something different, plus trolls, minotaurs, cyclopes, harpies, kobolds, thri-kreen and the Reaper. Merfolk build sealed villages on the seafloor and tengu raise temples in the sky; both hold jobs, post guards and trade. Kill a dragon and it drops its head — mount it, wear it, or wire it to redstone and watch the jaw open. Nothing in this mod can break a block or start a fire.

A craft of reagents, scrolls and spellbooks for survival Minecraft. Brew eight reagents at an Athanor out of things already in your chests, inscribe forty spells onto scrolls at a Sigil Desk, and bind them into a book that grows through six ranks. Bridge a ravine, open a door between worlds, or call fire across a valley. Replaces JRH Recall.

A dimension rather than an overworld mod — a realm of its own to travel to, with its own rules and its own inhabitants. Still in development.
